This fast-growing perennial vine loves the heat and sun, and will go out of its way to sprawl out in search of the sunshine. It will die back to the ground in the winter, but return even more vigorously the next season by sending out runners. The plant is beloved by bees and other pollinators, and is the host plant of the gulf fritillary butterfly.
